2019 IBPS International Symposium
Building, repairing, replacing organs
The next international symposium of the Institut de Biologie Paris-Seine will be held on 16 and 17 May 2019 at the Charpak Amphiteater of the Pierre et Marie Curie Campus of Sorbonne Université.
This conference will focus in particular on the role of stem cells in organogenesis, culture methods for propagating stem cells that can be differentiated into organoids, and the applications of these methods for repair purposes.
A round table discussion on the ethical issues raised by the use of stem cells in general and for repair purposes in particular will conclude this meeting.
